Qigong

Qigong is a moving meditation practice based on an ancient Chinese health cultivation practice. There are many Qi movements and this class will focus on the movements that connect to the five elements of nature: metal, water, wood, fire and earth. The Qi practice supports the five principles of breath, relaxation, centering, emptiness and flow. The movements are easy to follow and will focus on the importance of alignment, breathing and core engagement.


Qigong is the gateway to inner peace. The movements have many positive benefits to the body including boosting the immune system, increasing flexibility, improving balance, reducing stress and empowering your energy. You will learn simple acupuncture points to activate your own healing elixir in the body, as well as valuable anti-aging techniques. Discover the meaning of "effortless power" and how to connect the body, mind and spirit. At the end of our 50 minute moving practice, we will practice pranayama breath techniques and meditation to strengthen powerful self-care tools you can bring into your daily routine.
